The Sauldre flows generally northwest through the following départements and towns: Cher: Vailly-sur-Sauldre, Argent-sur-Sauldre Loir-et-Cher: Salbris, Romorantin-Lanthenay The Sauldre flows into the river Cher near Selles-sur-Cher.
