Sandblasting is an Italian one man band project formed in 1997 by Luca Torasso. The aim of the Sandblasting audio project is to generate abrasive and violent frequencies that act on the brain of the listener like the powder quartz works on the rusted metal surface. In the 2004 Luca Torasso with Riccardo Balli (writer, producer and founder of the independent label Sonic Belligeranza base “+Belligeranza” the first sub label of Sonic Belligeranza. In the same year begins to work and collaborate with Stefano Rossello and the Rustblade project. Sandblasting plays in various festivals and clubs sharing the stage with Asche, Dive, P.A.L. , Synapscape, Brighter Death Now. In the 2007 founds NoiseCollective, an Italian web portal dedicated to Circuit Bending, D.I.Y. and experimentation in which may be found electronic circuit and various hardware and software tutorial.
