The Dangwa flower market is famous for selling cut flower from all over the Philippines and is open 24 hours a day. It is located beside the Dangwa Bus Station. Among the main throughfares of this district are Dapitan, Laon Laan, Dimasalang, Maria Clara, Maceda and España Boulevard. There are 241 barangays in Sampaloc, numbers 395-636. However, barangays 587-636 are part of Sta. Mesa, which is part of Manila's 6th district
