Sabata Jonguhlanga Dalindyebo, (1928-1986) was the ruler of the Thembu people of South Africa. He reigned from 1954 to 1980 when he was deposed by the government of Kaiser Matanzima. He died in exile in Lusaka. He was buried in a very undignified manner not fit for a King by the Matanzima regime. People who attended the funeral had to be screened by the regime's security branch. No political speeches were allowed.
