SIKART is a biographical dictionary and a database on visual art in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is published online by the Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIAR). Conceptually and in terms of content, it is an expanded and continually updated online version of the SIAR's 1998 Biographical Lexicon of Swiss Art, which featured 12,000 short entries and some 1,100 detailed biographical articles.

Die vom Schweizerischen Institut für Kunstwissenschaft (SIK-ISEA) erstellte Datenbank enthält Angaben zu 16'000 Künstlern, 1'500 ausführliche biografische Artikel, 12'000 Werkabbildungen, 89'000 Literatureinträge, 61'000 Ausstellungseinträge sowie 11'000 Auszeichnungen und Preise. Sie beruht auf dem «Biografischen Lexikon der Schweizer Kunst», das 1998 vom SIK herausgegeben wurde und in zwei Bänden erschienen ist. Seit 2006 steht die Datenbank Sikart online der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung und wird laufend ausgebaut. Sie wird heute unter anderem von der Universitätsbibliothek Bern und der Zentralbibliothek Zürich verwendet.
