- SAMAK riunisce i partiti socialdemocratici e dei sindacati dei paesi nordici. SAMAK consists of all social democratic parties and trade union organisations in the Nordic countries, including in Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Åland. The President of the committee is Jens Stoltenberg, the Prime Minister of Norway and chairman of the Norwegian Labour Party. Peter Palshøj is the General Secretary. The committee was formed during the first Scandinavian Workers' Congress in Göteborg in 1886. SAMAK holds a congress every four years, with the next congress scheduled for autumn 2014.
