Asha Bhosle erhielt für einen der Filmsongs einen Filmfare Award als beste Playbacksängerin. Seine zweite Regiearbeit war Jaanwar (1982) mit Zeenat Aman und Rajesh Khanna. Ali Raza starb im Alter von 85 Jahren an Herzversagen.
