Room 666 is a 1982 documentary film directed by German film director Wim Wenders. During the 1982 Cannes Film Festival, Wenders set up a static camera in room 666 of the Hotel Martinez and provided selected film directors a list of questions to answer concerning the future of cinema. Each director is given one 16 mm reel (approximately 11 minutes) to answer the questions.

In occasione del Festival di Cannes del 1982, Wenders preparò un macchina da presa fissa in una camera d'albergo (la numero 666 dell'Hotel Martinez) e invitò una serie di registi ad entrarvi da soli, accendere la camera e il registratore audio e rispondere in solitudine ad una serie di domande preparate su un foglio. Le domande erano sul tema "Qual è il futuro del cinema?" e in particolare: "Il cinema è un linguaggio che andrà perduto, un'arte che sta per morire?". Ogni regista aveva a disposizione una rullo di pellicola da 16 mm (circa 11 minuti di durata) per rispondervi. Wenders registrò il suo intervento come chiusura, aggiunse un'introduzione e montò il tutto. Tra gli altri appaiono Jean-Luc Godard, Steven Spielberg, Michelangelo Antonioni, Werner Herzog e Rainer Werner Fassbinder, che morì meno di un mese dopo. È stato presentato fuori concorso al Festival di Cannes 2006.
