Toomer is responsible for designing the Magnum XL 200 at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, the Desperado in Primm, Nevada, and Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, among many others. It has been noted that Toomer never actually rides any of the roller coasters he designs, having had a motion sickness problem since childhood. Ron Toomer retired from his job 2000, two years before Arrow Dynamics' bankruptcy, before it was acquired by S&S Power.
