Rio Grand is an American country music group founded by Lance Leslie, Tommy Rennick, Danny Rivera, and Fred Stallcup. All four members are natives of the state of Texas. In addition, Lance Leslie was previously a member of South 65, a country music boy band which recorded two albums in the late 1990s-early 2000s. In 2006, the group was signed to Asylum-Curb Records.

Shortly afterward, their first single (titled "Kill Me Now") was released to radio, reaching a peak of #42 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. In addition, Rio Grand opened concerts for Trick Pony and Pat Green. Four more singles were released, although none charted. Lance Leslie left the group in 2009.
