Marinus ("Rinus") David Israël is a former Dutch football player, manager and currently scout. During his career he played for DWS (1962-66), Feyenoord Rotterdam (1966-74), Excelsior Rotterdam (1974-75) and PEC Zwolle (1975-82). Israël achieved his greatest success at club level with Feyenoord, where he won three Eredivisie titles, a KNVB Cup, a European Cup and a UEFA Cup. He scored one of the two Rotterdam goals in the 1970 European Cup final against Celtic F.C.

Als speler werd hij IJzeren Rinus genoemd. Israel begon zijn carrière bij DWV, en werd met DWS landskampioen in 1964. In dit elftal speelde ook Joop Burgers, zijn zwager, en tevens oud-international. Israel stapte over naar Feyenoord waar hij als speler zijn grootste successen beleefde met drie maal een landskampioenschap, eenmaal de KNVB-beker, de Europa Cup I en de UEFA Cup. In de finale van de Europa Cup I in 1970 tegen Celtic scoorde hij één van de twee Rotterdamse goals. Na zijn vertrek bij Feyenoord speelde hij een seizoen bij Excelsior (1974-1975), en werd hij verkozen tot Nederlands speler van het jaar. De laatste zeven jaar van zijn actieve spelerscarrière speelde hij bij PEC Zwolle. Na zijn afscheid als speler was hij (assistent)trainer bij achtereenvolgens PEC Zwolle, FC Den Bosch en Feyenoord tot hij in 1988 de leiding kreeg over het Griekse PAOK Saloniki. Dit buitenlands avontuur duurde slechts een seizoen, en Israel keerde terug bij FC Den Bosch. Na een seizoen bij Dinamo Boekarest (1991-1992) waar hij de club naar het landskampioenschap leidde, was Israel gedurende vier jaar als assistent-bondscoach in dienst bij de KNVB en assisteerde hij de bondscoaches Dick Advocaat en Guus Hiddink bij het Nederlands Elftal. Hierna was hij trainer van het Ghanees elftal, en werkte hij enkele seizoenen in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, om daarna naar Nederland terug te keren als trainer van ADO Den Haag. In 2003 vertrok Israel opnieuw naar de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten om daar als trainer terug te keren bij Al Whada. Daar was hij actief tot en met juni 2004. Vanaf maart 2006 is israel in dienst van Feyenoord. Hij is werkzaam in de scouting van de Rotterdammers.
