Richard Weiszmann is a retired American soccer defender who played for the New England Revolution in 1996. He also spent five seasons in the USISL. He is currently the Director of Coaching with the Diablo Valley Soccer Club and is a research scientist at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory. He returned to Northern California and signed with the San Jose Clash, but never had a first team game. In 1997, he joined the Chico Rooks of the USISL, playing with the team through the 1999 season. Weiszmann has coached for several years with the Diablo Valley Soccer Club. He is currently the club’s Director of Coaching. He also works at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory.
