Rhacophorus is a genus of frogs in the moss frog family which together with the related Hylidae makes up the true tree frogs. They live in India, Japan and Southeast Asia. It is closely related to Polypedates, and several species of that genus were formerly placed in Rhacophorus. These frogs have long toes with strong webbing between them, enabling the animals to slow their fall to a glide. They are therefore among the anurans commonly known as "flying frogs".

Die rund 80 Arten dieser Gattung leben im südostasiatischen Raum in dichten Wäldern. Mit Hilfe ihrer riesigen Schwimmhäute an den Füßen, die sie wie einen Gleitschirm nutzen, können einige Arten, die auch als Flugfrösche bezeichnet werden (Rhacophorus pardalis, Rh. nigropalmatus), bis zu 15 Meter weit durch die Luft gleiten. Bei der Paarung der meisten Arten wird eine vom Weibchen abgesonderte Schleimmasse zu Schaum geschlagen, der dann, zwischen Blätter über einer Wasserfläche geklebt, als "Nest" für den Laich dient.
