It does offer denomination-specific programmes for Baptist and Anglican students. About 700 students are enrolled in full- or part-time studies. Approximately 40% of students are Canadian, another 40% are American, and the remaining 20% come from across the globe. Hong Kong, in fact, is home to more Regent alumni/ae than any other city in the world after Vancouver itself. The school is also popular with students from South East Asia, with many coming from Singapore and Malaysia.

Veertig procent heeft een Canadese achtergrond, veertig procent een Amerikaanse en 20 procent komt uit andere landen, waarvan een groot deel uit Azië. De school biedt op dit moment vier programma aan: een Diploma in Christian Studies (DipCS), een Master of Christian Studies (MCS), een Master of Divinity (MDiv) en een Master of Theologie (ThM). Regent College werd in 1968 opgericht met als doel om leken een degelijke theologische achtergrond mee te geven. Door de aanwezigheid van hoogleraren als Gordon Fee en James Packer groeide Regent College door de jaren heen uit tot een gevestigd instituut in de evangelicale wereld.
