Real World Studios is the high-tech recording studio in Box, Wiltshire, associated with the Real World Records Ltd. record label founded by rock musician Peter Gabriel. Real World Records has introduced such musicians as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Yungchen Lhamo and Youssou N'Dour to Western culture. Real World has given musicians from different nations and different cultures the opportunity to work together and experiment with musical fusion. The studio's best-selling musical group, other than Gabriel himself, has been the Afro Celt Sound System, which uses this musical "fusion" to combine African and Celtic rhythms and melodies. Hope of the States guitarist Jimmi Lawrence committed suicide at the studios during the recording of their debut album. This led to tributes from the studio.
