Es gibt einen Fischerhafen an der Landspitze nördlich des Ortes. Fischfang ist die wichtigste Einnahmequelle. Richtung Osten beginnt ein 6 km langer Sandstrand, der an den Wochenenden von einheimischen Tagesurlaubern aus Nador besucht wird. Zwischen Ras el Ma und Saïdia erstreckt sich entlang der Ausgleichsküste ein Naturschutzgebiet mit der Mündung des Moulouya und einer Süßwasserlagune. Die 4 km nördlich Cap de l’Eau vorgelagerten Mittelmeerinseln Islas Chafarinas gehören seit 1848 zu Spanien.
