- Rachel Talalay ist eine Film-Regisseurin, -Produzentin und Drehbuchautorin. Talalay promovierte an der Universität Yale und arbeitete als Computer Analystin in Baltimore. 1981 stieg sie in der Position einer Produktionsassistentin ins Filmgeschäft ein (für den Film Polyester von John Waters). 1985 war sie als Produktionsmanagerin für den Horrorfilm Nightmare 2: Die Rache tätig und als Line Producer für Nightmare 3: Freddy Krueger lebt. Für Nightmare 6: Freddy's Finale schrieb sie das Drehbuch und führte Regie. 1995 führte sie Regie in der Comic-Verfilmung Tank Girl. Seitdem hat Rachel Talalay bisher überwiegend bei Fernsehserien wie zum Beispiel Without a Trace – Spurlos verschwunden, Ally McBeal, Dead Zone oder Supernatural Regie geführt.
