The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders was an infantry regiment of the British Army formed in 1793. In 1961 it was merged with the Seaforth Highlanders (Ross-shire Buffs, The Duke of Albany's) to form the Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons). The regiment's lineage is now continued by The Highlanders, 4th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Le régiment reçoit le titre de "Queen's Own" par la reine Victoria en 1873 et fusionne avec le Seaforth Highlanders en 1961 afin de former le Queen's Own Highlanders. Le Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders est le seul régiment d'infanterie à ne pas avoir vu ses effectifs passer à 2 bataillons après les réfomes Childers de 1881. Le major-général Douglas Wimberley, un général de division de la Seconde Guerre mondiale sert dans le 1 bataillon à partir de 1915, dans le 2 bataillon durant la en Irlande et commande le 1 bataillon en 1938. Il est le dernier colonel honoraire du régiment avant sa fusion avec le Seaforth Highlanders en 1961.
