  • 銭鏐（せんびょう）は十国・呉越の創建者である。淅江杭州臨安の人。 唐末に石鏡鎮将軍董昌に従い黄巣の反乱軍を鎮圧、その功により鎮海節度使に任じられた。乾寧年間に董昌を破り両浙13州を占拠、907年に後梁より呉越王に封じられここに呉越政権が誕生した。在位期間中は銭塘・江海塘の修理や太湖に堰閘を建設し洪水防止と灌漑整備を行い、支配地域での農業生産力の向上に尽力している。 932年に薨去し安国県衣錦郷の茅山に埋葬された。
  • 吴越太祖武肃王钱镠（852年－932年）（镠读作“留”），字具美（一作巨美），浙江杭州临安人。中国五代十国时期吴越国的创立人。 唐末跟从石镜镇将军董昌镇压黄巢起义军，任镇海节度使，乾宁年间，击败董昌，占有两浙十三州，后梁开平初年被封为吴越王。907年至932年在位期间，曾征用民工，修建钱塘江海塘，又在太湖流域，普造堰闸，以时蓄洪，不畏旱涝，并建立水网圩区的维修制度，有利于这一地区的农业经济。932年逝世，葬安国县衣锦乡茅山。
