Project Gotham Racing 3 (PGR3 for short) is an arcade-style racing game that was released with the launch of the Xbox 360 on November 22 2005 for the US market and December 2 2005 in Europe, and was released on January 12 2006 in Japan. Developed by Bizarre Creations, it is the third installment in the Project Gotham Racing series. Pelin uratilan alussa saa 80000 ”krediittiä” käyttöönsä joilla ostetaan autoja. Autot on jaettu eri luokkiin: A,B,C,D ja E luokat. A-luokkaan kuuluvat mm: Ferrari F50 GT ja McLaren F1 GT jotka ovat pelin nopeimmat autot ja maksavatkin uratilassa yli miljoona krediittiä. E-luokassa ovat huonoimmat (mutta silti nopeat) autot, joilla pääsee ajamaan pelin alussa. Uratilaa pelatessa True Skill sijoitus paranee, jonka avulla Xbox Live etsii itselleen sopivimman vastustajan. Pelin grafiikat eivät ole Xbox 360:n parhaimmistoa, mutta mainittakoon että pelissä on vauhdin mukaan sumenevat maisemat.
