Prince Leopold of Belgium, Duke of Brabant (born Léopold Ferdinand Élie Victor Albert Marie or Leopold Ferdinand Elias Victor Albert Marie on 12 June 1859 in Laeken – died 22 January 1869 in Laeken or Brussels), was the second child and only son and heir of Leopold II of Belgium and his wife, Archduchess Marie Henriette of Austria.

Leopold was named for grandfather, and for his father's cousins, Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom and Prince Albert, the Prince Consort.

Hij was de enige zoon van koning Leopold II en koningin Maria Hendrika. Hij gold als een vrolijk kind en bracht veel van zijn tijd door bij zijn shetlandpony. In de zomer van 1868 viel hij in een vijver en liep daarbij een longontsteking op. Nadat er ook complicaties met zijn hart optraden, stierf de 9-jarige kroonprins op 22 januari 1869. Dit verlies trof zijn vader zwaar. Leopolds begrafenis was de enige gelegenheid waarop de koning in het openbaar huilde. Met Leopolds dood ging het opvolgingsrecht over op Filips, graaf van Vlaanderen, jongere broer van Leopold II. Diens oudste zoon Boudewijn stierf echter in 1891, zodat zijn tweede zoon in 1909 als Albert I de troon besteeg.

Od 1865 roku był następcą tronu i przyjął tytuł księcia Brabancji. Miał dwie siostry – Luizę Marię Amelię Koburg i Stefanię Klotyldę Koburg. Klementyna Koburg-Bonaparte, trzecia córka pary królewskiej, urodziła się już po jego śmierci. W przeciwieństwie do sióstr, Leopold był kochany i rozpieszczany przez swoich rodziców. Zmarł niespodziewanie w wieku dziesięciu lat z powodu choroby serca.
