Presley Chweneyagae is a South African actor, best known for starring in the film Tsotsi, which won the Academy Award for Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards. Although he had acted before in plays, Tsotsi was his first feature film. On 25 January 2007, Chweneyagae was charged with fraud in Pretoria.

He was arrested for possessing a fake driving license, ironically, his character role in the movie Tsotsi did not have his license either and always ran into problems when driving a car. He was later convicted of the offence and fined 5,000 Rand. Chweneyagae was later rumored to be paying a small role in the 2009 film District 9, which was filmed on location in Soweto, as was Tsotsi. However this rumor was not fact and was formed from a scene in a District 9 trailer where an actor who resembles Totsi is in a van asking for a Bulletproof vest. This role was actually played by Mandla Gaduka.
