The Presbyterian Church in the United States (PCUS) was a Protestant Christian denomination in the Southern and border states of the United States that existed from 1861 to 1983. That year it merged with the United Presbyterian Church in the United States of America (UPCUSA) to form the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Este grupo separou-se do principal corpo nacional do presbiterianismo nos EUA, em 1861, por causa da questão da escravidão e ficou sendo chamada, durante a Guerra Civil dos Estados Unidos da América, "Presbyterian Church in the Confederate States of America.". Entre os ilustres envolvidos com a PCCSA/PCUS no decurso de sua história, incluem-se: James Henley Thornwell, Robert Lewis Dabney, Benjamin Morgan Palmer, John L. Giradeau e L. Nelson Bell (o sogro de Billy Graham). A PCUS enviou missionários para vários países, inclusive para o Brasil, colaborando diretamente para a formação da Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil. Em 1983, a PCUS fundiu-se com a UPCUSA para fundar a Presbyterian Church (USA).
