La nueva edición, de dos CDs incluye una versión remasterizada del LP original, en el primer CD, y una colección de demos, canciones en vivo, en el segundo. También existe una edición monodisco, que incluye el álbum original tal cual, solo que remasterizado. Fue lanzado a finales de 2005 en Europa, y a principios de 2006 en Estados Unidos. L'édition Deluxe a été renotée 4/5 et rétrospectivement l'album est défini comme une "étape importante pour le Rock gothique". Ce qui ne fit qu'empirer les sentiments de Robert Smith rejetant systématiquement cette étiquette. "Pornography" n'est pas gothique, il incarne à lui seul toute la souffrance de l'être en train de se (dé)construire.
