Pohoda festival is an open-air summer music festival in Slovakia, first organized in 1997 in Trenčín. It is one of the biggest Slovak music events organized annually. The current venue is Trenčín Airport. The festival features alternative music, rock, pop, dance music, world music, house, techno, drum and bass, hip hop, but also theatre, discussions, chamber music, dance and literature workshops. The actual record-high attendance is 33,000 people/day from 2009.

Von der bisherigen Besucheranzahl her fällt das Festival eher bescheiden aus (gemessen an deutschen Verhältnissen). Von der Stimmung her ist es dennoch locker und überwältigend gleichzeitig. Die Veranstaltung setzt weniger auf große und weltberühmte Bands, als auf eine ausgewogene Mischung von Kunst und Unterhaltung. Es ist deshalb nicht überraschend, dass sich dort unter anderem auch verschiedene Theaterstücke finden lassen. Pohoda bevorzugt keinen bestimmten Stil. Jede Musikrichtung ist dort zu finden, von klassischem Rock über Techno, Ska und Reggae bis hin zu Heavy-Metal. Deswegen bedarf das Musikprogramm neun verschiedener Stages. Bekannte Bands, die auf dem Festival vertreten waren, sind unter anderem: The Prodigy, Garbage, Stereo MCs, Cardigans, Moloko, Cesaria Evora, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Bomfunk MC's, Mando Diao, The Hives, Wu Tang Clan und DJ Shadow.
