Pluto was a Canadian alternative rock band, active from 1993 to 1999. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the band consisted of vocalist and guitarist Ian Jones, guitarist Rolf Hetherington, bassist John Ounpuu and drummer Justin Leigh. After independently releasing a number of singles, the band released its debut album in 1995 on Mint Records, followed by a four-song EP in 1996. They subsequently signed to Virgin Records, for whom they released two full-length albums.

With the band's music no longer widely available in stores, they have made both of their Virgin Records albums available as free downloads from their Myspace profile.
