Pleasures of the Flesh is the second album by Exodus, released in 1987. This is the first Exodus album to feature Steve Souza on vocals. It was remastered and re-issued by Century Media in 1998 in Europe only. The album was to originally feature cover art with an illustration of the band depicted as cannibals preparing and eating their meal. The original cover was also available as a limited edition picture disc LP. There are several demos of songs from the album with their former singer Paul Baloff circulating on the internet.

Dit was enigszins uniek voor een thrash metal band omdat in 1987 nog niet iedereen een cd-speler had. Pleasures of the Flesh is het tweede album van Exodus. Dit is het eerste album met Steve Souza als zanger. Steve Souza zong voor Exodus samen met Chuck Billy van Testament in de band Dublin Death Patrol en was tevens de zanger van Legacy, wat later overging in Testament. Het album bevat veel snelle nummers en sommigen gaan over kannibalisme, parasieten en de dood. Het laatste nummer, "Choose Your Weapon" wordt over het algemeen beschouwd als het meest bekende en het beste nummer van deze cd. Op de voorkant van de hoes zijn de vijf bandleden met vijf doodshoofden te zien, vijf fictieve bandleden en op de achterkant staat een indiaanse krijger met een speer en de nodige skeletten en botten op de achtegrond. Oorspronkelijk was er een andere (getekende) cdcover gemaakt, die alleen beperkt is uitgegeven. (o.a. als picturedisc) Wegens omstandigheden werd de cover vervangen door de hierboven beschreven cover.
