In addition to his own releases, Plastiq Phantom has been credited with production of many other acts including Vells, Psychic Emperor, Calculator Man & Hangar, Pleaseeasaur, and DJs On Strike!. In 2001 Plastiq Phantom formed a production company along with Scientific American named Polar Empire. They have done commercial compositions for clients such as Nike, MTV, Volkswagen, and AMC. In 2004 Plastiq Phantom contributed music to the film Moog, about synthesizer guru Robert Moog. In October 2006, Darrin joined the indie rock band Modest Mouse as a technician and touring member, creating beats, samples, and electronic accompaniment.
