On April 1, 2009, it was announced that Pinback was working on a new album that would be released by Temporary Residence Ltd. On Record Store Day 2011, Pinback released the single "Information Retrieved A" as the first installment of their "Information Retrieved" series. The release includes two tracks, Sherman and Thee Srum Proggitt. The full album will not be released until early 2012.
