Picuris Pueblo is a census-designated place (CDP) in Taos County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 86 at the 2000 census. The pueblo people are from the Tiwa ethnic group of Native Americans who speak the Picuris language. Picurís Pueblo is a member of the Eight Northern Pueblos. Picuris village has occupied its present location since around 750 AD. The Picuris people previously lived in an earlier, larger village known as Pot Creek, near Taos.

Picuris village has occupied its present location since around 750 AD. The Picuris people previously lived in an earlier, larger village known as Pot Creek, near Taos. Spanish explorer Don Juan de Oñate called them "pikuria" - those who paint. Picuris Pueblo owns a majority interest in the four-star Hotel Santa Fe in Santa Fe. Picuris is known for its micaceous pottery.
