The primary component, π Aquilae A, is a yellow-white F-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +5.7. Its companion, π Aquilae B, is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +6.2. The combined apparent magnitude of the binary is +5.72.
