Philip Clayton (born 1955) is a contemporary American theologian and philosopher who is currently the Dean of Faculty at Claremont School of Theology and Provost at Claremont Lincoln University . He received dual PhDs from Yale in philosophy and theology, working with Louis Dupre. He also studied as a DAAD fellow under Wolfhart Pannenberg, eventually working as a translator of Pannenberg's theology.
