Philip Andrew Brown was a British athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres. In the individual 400m his results were not outstanding; however, he was an exceptional anchor leg relay runner, anchoring the British team to a number of medals. Brown competed for Great Britain in the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, United States in the 4 x 400 metre relay, where, closing fast, he won the Silver medal with his team mates Kriss Akabusi, Garry Cook and Todd Bennett.
