Petter Mørch Koren (22 January 1910 - 14 November 2004) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. He was a deputy member of Hedrum municipality council in the period 1937–1938 and held various positions in Oslo city council between 1947 and 1965. He was temporary County Governor of Akershus from 1966 to 1970, and County Governor from 1970 to 1979.

Koren var varamedlem i Hedrum herredsstyre 1937–1938 og varamedlem i Oslo bystyre 1947–1951. Han var medlem av Oslo formannskap fra 1951 til 1965. Videre var han konstituert fylkesmann i Oslo og Akershus 1966–1970 og fylkesmann samme sted 1970–1979. Han ble uteksaminert cand. jur. fra Universitetet i Oslo i 1932. Etter studieopphold i England 1932–1933 arbeidet han først som sakførerfullmektig og dommerfullmektig. 1938–1940 var han ansatt som sekretær i Handelsdepartementet, fra 1940–1942 sekretær i Sjøfartsdepartementet, fra 1942–1945 byråsjef. Fra 1949 til 1956 var han byråsjef i Handelsdepartementet, for deretter å virke som byrettsdommer i Oslo frem til 1965. Han har innehatt en lang rekke offentlige verv og tillitsverv. Han ble utnevnt til kommandør av St. Olavs orden i 1979.
