Peter John Hartley is a former England county cricketer. Hartley was born in Keighley, Yorkshire, and made his debut for Warwickshire in 1982. He returned to Yorkshire in 1985, and stayed there until 1998, when he moved to Hampshire. When he retired at the end of the 2000 season, Hartley was Hampshire's opening bowler. As of 2007, he is a Test official, performing TV umpire duties in four Test matches and four One-Day Internationals.
