The late Peta Teanet was a South African musician of Tsonga descent, known as one of the country's most popular disco musicians. He lived at Thapane village, in Bolobedu south at GaModjadji. He attended school at Kgwekgwe high school. His debut album, Maxaka (we are relatives) was recorded in 1988. His music was highly influenced by the late Paul Ndlovu.
