Pedro Castro Trespalacios (March 18, 1904 – May 25, 1967) was a Colombian lawyer, politician and historian. Castro-Trespalacios studied middle school at the Colegio Manuel Gregorio Núñez in Valledupar and at the Colegio Pinillos in Santa Cruz de Mompox. He later studied high school at the Colegio San Jose of Medellin.

Castro-Trespalacios studied middle school at the Colegio Manuel Gregorio Núñez in Valledupar and at the Colegio Pinillos in Santa Cruz de Mompox. He later studied high school at the Colegio San Jose of Medellin. After graduating form high school Castro-Trespalacios studied law and jurisprudence at the Our Lady of the Rosary University and later at the Universidad Externado de Colombia from where he graduated on July 16, 1928 with the thesis; Breves Conceptos Sobre Responsabilidad Penal (Brief Concepts on Penal Responsibility). In 1930 Castro-Trespalacios was appointed Attorney of the Superior Court in the city of Santa Marta. From 1935 to 1937 was appointed Superior Tribunal Judge of Santa Marta. This same year, Castro-Trespalacios then run for a seat in the Department Assembly of Magdalena getting elected as deputy. In 1938 was elected representative to the national Chamber of Representatives representing the Department of Magdalena. Between 1940 and 1941 Castro-Trespalacios was once again appointed Circuit Judge for the municipalities of Río de Oro and later in 1944 to the municipality of Chiriguaná.
