Paul M. Weyrich (October 7, 1942 – December 18, 2008) was an American conservative political activist and commentator, most notable for co-founding the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank and the Free Congress Foundation, another conservative think tank. He switched from the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church to that of Melkite Greek Catholic Church and was ordained protodeacon.
