- Paul Michael Simm is a British songwriter, musician and music producer specialising in contemporary R&B and pop music. Together with co-writers Jonathan Lipsey, Felix Howard and Cameron McVey, he has written and produced several hits for English girl group Sugababes including Overload (UK no. 6) and Run for Cover (UK no. 13). In 2002, Lipsey, Howard, McVey and Simm were also awarded writing credits by ASCAP for the song Make Over, which appears on Christina Aguilera's multi-million selling album Stripped. The track was originally listed as having been written by Aguilera and Linda Perry, but critics claimed that it had borrowed heavily from the Sugababes song Overload. He also co-wrote Siobhán Donaghy's debut single ‘Overrated’ (UK no. 19) plus various tracks for Neneh Cherry, Patrice and Eagle Eye Cherry. His other credits include JC Chasez of N*SYNC ‘Hot Section’ and Leon Jean-Marie ‘Bent Out of Shape’ and ‘Stay Right Here’. He has also produced albums for Groove Armada, Beth Hirsch and Flightcrank. In 2008 Simm has been involved with Ivyrise, a pop band from London, England. Simm produced their first single "Tips" which charted at #5 in the UK Indie Charts as well as producing the remainder of the album, due for release in early 2009. Simm is currently signed with Trevor Horn's publishing company, Perfect Songs.
