He has served in the Assembly as Parliamentarian since 2006. Diegnan serves in the Assembly on the Higher Education Committee (as Chair), the Education Committee, the Regulated Professions Committee and the Joint Committee on the Public Schools. Diegnan is a former instructor of law at Middlesex County College.
