Palace "Ukraine" is one of the main venues for concerts (the other one is Palace of Sports) in Kiev (the capital of Ukraine) it is also used for congresses. It was built in 1970 by the architects Yevheniya Marynchenko, P. Zhylytskyi, I. Vayner.. Although it was finally built on a former market square on Krasnoarmeyskaya street (present vul. Chervonoarmiyska), it was originally suggested to be built in the place of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery.
