Oxford Brookes permet à ses étudiants des échanges avec d'autres universités telles que university of Pennsylvania,Hong Kong university Ceram Business School à Sophia-Antipolis (France), ou encore l'Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Dijon (France) permettant à ses étudiants en Business de se faire des relations à travers le monde pour leur futur. Les couleurs d'Oxford Brookes sont le bleu foncé, le blanc, et le rouge foncé. Les départements les plus cotés de l'université sont l'histoire, les langues vivantes, l'économie et l'informatique. C'est une université pionnière dans l'utilisation de cours modulaires, permettant ainsi des combinaisons exotiques comme "Business Statistics and Clinical Aromatherapy", ou "Ecology and Telecommunications".
