Oxford was a parliamentary constituency in the United Kingdom. It comprised the town of Oxford in the county of Oxfordshire, and elected two Members of Parliament from its creation in 1295 until 1881. From 1885, the seat elected only one member. In 1983, Oxford was split into two separate constituencies: Oxford West and Abingdon and Oxford East.
