Otakar Kubín fr. Othon Coubine; (22 October 1883, Boskovice – 7 October 1969, Marseille) was an internationally renowned Czech painter and sculptor born in Boskovice, Moravia, Czech Republic. His works are mainly associated with Impressionism. He was influenced by such artists as Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gauguin, and formed a friendship with Pablo Picasso. He was known in France as Othon Coubine. He died in Marseilles, France, in 1969.

Othon Coubine (ou Otakar, ou Ottokar, Kubin) est un peintre tchèque et plus précisément morave, né à Boskovice en 1883, mort à Marseille en 1969, actif en France. En 1912, Kubin quitte la Tchécoslovaquie et s'installe à Paris où il prend le nom de Coubine, il sera naturalisé français en 1926. Il expose à Paris en 1925 à la galerie Guiot, 4, rue Volney, Paris et en même temps à la galerie Barbazange, 109, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, en 1926 à la galerie Briant-Robert, rue d'Argenteuil, Paris, alors dirigée par Adolphe Basler.
