Orange Blossom is a French band that plays a mix of electronic and world music. The band was formed in Nantes in 1993 with Pierre-Jean Chabot (known as PJ Chabot) on violin and Jean-Christophe Waechter (known as Jay C. ) on percussions and vocals. In 1994, Éric (organ) joined the band and a first audio tape was recorded in September. In 1995 the band stabilized with the arrival of Carlos Robles Arenas on drums, djembé, and sampler, and the departure of Éric.

Vor ihrem zweiten Album Everything must Change waren sie stark beeinflusst von ethnischer und traditioneller Musik. Dieses erschien bei dem Label Bonsaï Music. Dabei arbeiteten sie mit einigen nicht-französischen Musik-Gruppen wie Yelemba D'Abidjan und Ganoub zusammen und tourten in Ägypten, Frankreich und Belgien. Mitglieder der Band waren seit Gründung 1993 PJ Chabot und Jay C.. 1994 stieß Éric hinzu. Doch er verließ die Gruppe ein Jahr später wieder, dafür schloss sich Carlos Robles Arenas an. 2000 verließ der Sänger Jay C. die Band und gründete seine eigene Prajna. Im Jahr 2002 schlossen sich dann Schlagzeuger Mathias Vaguenez und Sängerin Leïla Bounous an.
