Operation Dzikisai Madhishi (Shona, Pull down your satellite dish) is an ongoing operation of the Military of Zimbabwe to pull down their private home satellite dishes. These dishes are primarily used to view e. tv, SABC, Botswana Television and DSTV as alternatives to the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, which is a mouthpiece of the Zimbabwean government and is poor in its news coverage. It began in Matabeleland South in June 2008 and spread soon after to other provinces.
