Ogun Records is a record label created by the husband and wife team of Hazel Miller and Harry Miller, to document the music being created by a group of open-minded musicians in London in the early 1970s. It has recorded work by musicians such as The Brotherhood of Breath, The Blue Notes, Chris McGregor, Elton Dean, Keith Tippett, Louis Moholo and Harry Beckett. The label remains active, in spite of Harry Miller being killed in a car accident in 1983, although new releases are infrequent.

Initialzündung war der Konzertmitschnitt von Chris McGregors erfolgreicher Brotherhood of Breath aus Willisau, der sich auf den etablierten Labels als nicht veröffentlichbar erwies. Das Label dokumentiert bis heute einerseits südafrikanische, mit der Londoner Szene verbundene Jazzmusiker wie Louis Moholo, andererseits Projekte wichtiger Protagonisten eines zeitgenössischen Jazz aus Großbritannien wie Keith Tippett, Elton Dean oder Harry Beckett. Beispielsweise veröffentlichte Ogun die Arbeit des legendären Saxophontrion S-O-S von John Surman Mike Osborne und Alan Skidmore, aber auch die Platte des Gesangsquartetts Voices mit Julie Tippetts, Maggie Nicols, Phil Minton und Brian Ely. Nachdem das Label am Ende der 1980er ziemlich inaktiv war, werden mittlerweile neben Neuerscheinungen auch Teile des Back-up-Katalogs auf CD herausgebracht. Das Label wird von Hazel Miller gemeinsam mit John Jack von Cadillac Music geleitet.
