- Nude Records was a London based record label, set up in 1992 by Saul Galpern who had previously been involved in the success of artists such as Simply Red, the Fall, Julian Cope,The Triffids, The Slits and The Au pairs, amongst others. The label's first success was with Suede, who is often cited as kick-starting brit pop. Suede's debut album was the fastest selling debut album in UK history when it was released in 1993 and held that record for over 10 years. During their career Suede graced over 40 front cover magazines in the UK and won the mercury music prize in 1993, as well as receiving 5 Brit nominations. Suede went on to sell over 5 million records worldwide, including 5 top 10 singles in the UK with their "Coming Up" album in 1996. Other artists signed to the label included Scottish band Geneva who had top 20 success with their debut album 'Further' and Black Box Recorder who had a top 20 hit with the 'The Facts Of Life' in 1998, also Ultrasound,Lowgold, and ex-Associates front man Billy Mckenzie. The label had a licensing deal with Sony outside the UK with the recordings going through 3mv/vital and later on Pinnacle distribution. The label ceased trading in 2001 but in 2005 returned with the release of the compilation album Future's Burning, which featured songs from up-and-coming British bands like Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, the Libertines, Razorlight and others. Recently nude have released an album by acclaimed Berlin songwriter/artist 'Get Well Soon'.

En 2001 Nude Records Cesó su actividad, derivando a sus artistas directamente a la filial del reino unido de Sony BMG. El Sello intento volver a la carga en 2005 tras la edición de un compilado titulado "Future's Burning" presentando canciones de bandas inglesas como Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party y otras. En ese mismo año, el sello edito un single de la banda Duels y mantiene una alianza estratégica con V2 Records.
