Nine Days is an American rock band who were popular in the early 2000s. Formed in Oyster Bay by frontman John Hampson and Brian Desveaux, they released three independent albums in the 1990s before their mainstream debut album, The Madding Crowd, released in 2000. The band scored two hits in the US from The Madding Crowd, in "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)", which reached #6 and "If I Am", which reached #68.

Après leur séparation d'avec Sony, le groupe a sorti sous leur propre label un autre album : Flying The Corporate Jet. À la mi-Août 2006, Nine Days s'est réuni et est retourné en studio pour enregistrer Slow Motion Life (Part One)], un nouvel EP avec 6 chansons, sorti le 19 janvier 2007. Slow Motion Life (Part Two) était prévu pour le début de l'été 2007. A l'heure actuelle, le site officiel n'existe plus.
