Love Child will be coming to New World Stages, previews beginning October 23, 2009, opening night October 31, 2009, for a limited run until January 3, 2010. Avenue Q will begin October 9, 2009. New World Stages is becoming the main location for the new piggybacking model Off-Broadway, whereby multiple shows adjust their playing times and share the same theater, set, and tech personnel to lower the costs of keeping an open-ended Off-Broadway show running. With the assistance of this model, two of New World Stages' tenants have recently recouped their initial investment (My First Time and Altar Boyz).
